We are seeking an articulate, empathetic, and detail-oriented Communications Coordinator Intern. In this role, you will act as the "voice" of our non-profit. You will help bridge the gap between our internal work and the public eye through newsletters, press releases, and donor updates, just to name a few. Draft press releases for upcoming campaigns (especially for the Breast Cancer Awareness Walk/Run).
Build and maintain a media list of local journalists and reporters to pitch stories to local news outlets to secure coverage for our events.
Proofread marketing materials for grammar, tone, and brand consistency.
Draft impact reports and "Thank You" letters.
